Intelligent Controller Mode
In our app, through our intelligent control system, we can alter the performance of the board to match the needs of the rider. The rider over time will learn the different modes and will understand that changing the configurations in the Torque app has benefits, but also consequences on how the board will react.
Greater speed needs more power which has a hidden negative effect. More torque, less speed, higher RPM’s, higher or lower discharge amps, all have an effect that needs to be carefully planned to achieve the premium ride performance for different situations.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”slideInUp” css=”.vc_custom_1541594283621{padding-bottom: 25px !important;}” el_class=”container”]
RACE MODE
The race mode is designed to give the rider the option of tweaking the system to obtain faster acceleration and powerful exiting speed through hard turns.
Where there is an advantage in adjusting one function to gain acceleration, there will also be a slight negative effect. Higher acceleration means more torque is needed, resulting in higher usage on the battery.
CRUISING MODE
The cruising mode is a function that we have added to our boards to allow the rider to have the option of using the board a lower maximum speed. The rider or team of riders might be in a beautiful gorge, river or lake location and would like to take in the scenery at a comfortable speed. Beginner to Advance Level Control
A special safety addition to the board is the adoption of an application that allows the rider or the agent renting the boards to adjust the speed of the board according to the level of rider. There will be 5 different speeds to adjust as the rider becomes more advanced and in control of the board. SPEED CHECK
At the end of each session you can check your Torque app and see the maximum speed you have obtained during that day of riding. If you are riding around the Jet Track and have bound (linked) your board to the buoys, at the end of each lap you can see on the app the maximum speed and the average speed during that lap.
JET TRACK RIDING ABILITY FEEDBACK
As you ride around the Jet Tracks and record your time per lap, the jet board’s distance travelled will also be recorded. For instance, the total Jet Track lap distance may be 2.65km, so after completing the lap you will be able to see the distance you have travelled. It must be over 2.65km in length or it will show that you have taken short cuts (on the app on the leaderboard page, together with the devils head icon, alert you that you did not complete the lap). If your distance travelled per lap is well above the Jet Track’s lap distance, then your riding ability needs some improvements, and you need to practice taking better lines into the corners without slowing the board down by digging into the rail too hard!
DAILY USAGE CHECK
Each Jet Board can be monitored on a daily basis in order to see the mileage that the board has travelled on that particular day as well as the time in minutes that the board was in usage. This is another great tool for agents renting or leasing the boards; the usage amount in either time or mileage can be easily checked at the end of each business day.
FIND MY JET BOARD
Each board is integrated with a GPS device that is connected to our CPU which at any time allows us to locate the position of the Jet Board. This feature can be great for when an agent is renting the boards and they would like to be able to check where their board is located. If the board is not returned on time, then our headquarters can be alerted and we can shut down the board. It is a great safety measure to add peace of mind when renting or leasing the boards. The GPS also allows us to track down the board in the event that it is lost or stolen.
